Once Upon A Christmas

So Christmas came and went this year sorta like a dream. Like the kind of dreams you wake up from and try to fall back to sleep so you can get back there. I've tried all month and it's not coming back. Till next year I guess.
I am the worst at remember to take pictures of everything as it happens so my pictures are random.

The Hoogle Zoo Lights. It was bitter cold but it was so much fun to see all the lights.

The boys thought this cat was the funniest thing as it kept walking back and forth right by them.

We drove to Glenwood Spring on the way to Colorado and stayed the night there. Christmas Eve morning we went swimming! In the natural Hot Springs. It was so much fun. Any part of us that was out of the water would freeze but under the water was toasty. I had to keep leaning Owen back into the water because I was afraid his ears might freeze! It was a great family memory!

Owen taking a Christmas nap with his mom. Best gift I got all day, I love the sweet calm, cuddly, sleeping baby.

My bro and sister-in-law(Tommy and Jolene). Enjoying the talent show.

We enjoyed many activities while we where in Colorado, sledding, a gymnastics place, playing wii, staying up way to late every night etc. Owen favorite was sledding. He has no fear.

Tamzen got punked. I'm evil... she prepared us all such a nice dinner and I am sure was working overtime for days before we got there. And then I stick pre-licked marshmallows on her face while she was sleeping. Real nice huh?

Our talent, singing the MXPX version of the 12 days of Christmas that we listened to a zillion times on the ride to Colorado. Gavin was to shy to sing it like he was in the car. And this may be one of the only pictures of Gavin at Christmas time. He was off having the time of his life with his cousins the whole time. He only took one nap the entire time we where there. No time to waste I guess. Just like his dad. Jason played hard with all "the guys."

Some other highlights of the trip not pictures was being able to be with everyone on Christmas Day. We are a large group.(18 grown ups and 16 kids) So it's hard to have us all together. My sister luckily has a gigantic house to host us all in now that my parents house is someones Else's. We drove by the old place and probably scared the kids that were sledding. Oh well, that used to be my yard kids. Get used to frequent drive bys.

All my siblings and spouses went to our favorite Japanese Restaurant and after dinner saw, Sherlock Holmes. Jason sometimes does look like Robert Downy and it's awesome!

We also went to eat at the Melting Pot for our Anniversary, with Tamzen, Lee, Tommy and Jolene, good company and the food was spectacular.

We had a blast hanging out in Colorado, can't wait to have Christmas again next year!
