Annual Packs Trip

So this is the third year that we have picked Pumpkins at Packs. I love it there! I love seeing Jason get so into finding the "one". It takes him a while he can't be rushed, he has a general idea of what he is looking for but he waits patiently until one speaks to him. In the end he always finds the perfect match.
Gavin had fun looking too. He wanted a orange and green pumpkin this year so we looked high and low and found a pretty good match. He kept looking at all the broken, mashed ones saying they were scary. Owen agreed on the pumpkin we found for him and was content to sit in the wheel barrow and enjoy the ride. I am most content to just watch my boys and take picture of how cute they are and watch them love life.

Weekend Getaway

So this weekend we took a trip to Rexburg Idaho.

Gavin two minutes into the trip. Don't worry he has a bucket of letters to take with him to Idaho.

Owen two minutes into the trip to Idaho.
Tenille and Lawrence were gracious enough to have us in thier new place. They have a cute apartment and it was fun to see the newly weds all settled into thier apartment.
On Satturday we were able to go to Cragio's for lunch. A novelity Pizza and Pasta Place. So good I wish I had gone to college there. I would have eaten there every day. Then we went to the movie theater where Tenille works. We got the VIP treatment while we saw the movie, UP.

Tenille definatley hooked us up with popcorn, drinks and candy. Gavin was in Heaven. And Owen was dreaming about Heaven.

Later on that night Tenille had to work a short shift at the drive in and the men went to the priesthood session. So Gavin, Owen and I tagged along to the drive in. It is the coolest little drive in location ever. We had a blast hanging out in there. GAvin of course had fun showing off all his cute tricks in front of Tenille's friends. And he again was in Heaven when he found a bunch of letters that go to the Menu board. We also discovered that night that Gavin can say his ABC's backwards, like it's nothing. He can say it so fast to. I was shocked when I heard him do this. Jason said he has done it before but this was the first time that I heard him do it.

Pretty right?


Tenile played a little trick on me. She tried to pawn this hat off on me and tell me it was a pre-birthday gift. She liked to see me try to graciously accept her "re-gift". However I really did like the hat, a little. After don't we look so good in it.
Well it was a fun time. Rexburg may not be very big. Some teased us for going on a get away to Rexburg. But anyplace where there is family is a getaway from all my cares. I am so lucky to have so much family and love that surrounds me daily.
