Memorial Day Weekend in Colorado

While Jason and his dad were putting new flooring in our house, we headed off to Colorado for Tenille's bridal shower. And some good family fun.

Brody modeling Owen's jacket. How he fit into it I don't know. But it was hilarious cause he walked up to me and just started talking like it was no big deal. When I realized he had Owen's jacket on I almost peed my pants. Crazy ol' Brody always good for a laugh. On a side note I just can't believe how tall and old he is getting. I remember the day he was born and I remember him as a baby. Where did the time go?

So I didn't get any pictures of the shower or Tenille. But it was a really pretty shower. It was fun to have a get away and spend some time with my family. I even stayed an extra day. I discovered Owen is not much of a traveler. he hates his car seat and can't sleep in it for very long. So Tamzen got me a ticket to fly back the next day so I could stay longer and not have to travel back via the car. The extra day we were there fell on Brody and Payton's last day of school. Tamzen has a schools out party. When they came home from school we all sprayed them with silly string and they had a party. Tamzen's such a fun creative mom! Oh and an added bonus was meeting my newest nephew Ranier. He is a month older than Owen and quite possible the happiest baby on the planet. So cute that boy!

Just Stop it Already

My Baby is 6 months old today. I tell him everyday to just stop growing and stay this way forever. This is a blissful age. Especially with a baby like Owen. He sleeps through the night, like through the night 8 ish to 7 ish. Ahh that makes for a very, very happy mom. He is so strong, he rolls over both ways, can almost sit up on his own and is trying to scoot. He is so happy, squishy, easy going, easy on the eyes and charming. I love, love that baby of mine. Happy Half B-Day O.

Accomplished

Jason graduated today with his MBA. I just wanted to thank him for all his hard work. It hasn't always been an easy road. I have to admit, that I haven't always been the best at supporting him. In the long run I knew /know this is what he needs to do. But I want my hubby back on the weekends. I thank him for going to class in spite of my pleas to skip class or leaving a grumpy wife when he had another group project to do. There were many times he studied early Saturday morning in our bedroom closet so he wouldn't wake me. I was thinking the other day when he got his cap and gown of all that he has acommplished in just the 4 years. He now has a masters in bussiness, he has a really good job that he loves, he has two handsome sons that adore him,(and I am sure will want to follow in his footsteps) a smokin' hot wife, (ha ha), a house and so much more that make him the man I love and adore. I love you Jason. Congrats, you did it!
