The Zoo

Last Wednesday we went to the Zoo. We have season passes and so far we have only gone once. I have not been feeling up to going by myself and Jason doesn't get off till the gates close. So he took off work a half hour early and we just barley made it inside. It was the perfect time to go. It was hot but not unbarable and I think we were some of the last people there. An hour and a half is plenty of zoo time at once for us. It was so much fun. We saw a lot of monkey's (which Gavin called George) and even a white alligator. Gavin loved it! He is also a bit of a scardy cat. Like when we would walk into some of the obsevatory rooms it had a dark entrance and he didn't like that. He didn't want to get to close to the big animals. We rode the train that was just a short trip around the lower half of the zoo. There was a tunnel that it went into and he didn't like that part. Plus there was this fake elephant that make loud noise as you walk by and he was extremly uneasy about that. All in all the Zoo rocks!
